DISCIPLE-MAKING

OPPORTUNITIES

Do you seek to experience community, connection, and growth?

Parkside offers several groups — including EQ Classes, Life Groups, and Bible Studies — that meet on and off-campus throughout the year for every age and stage of life. It is our hope that you can find people to do life with together. No need to be an attendee at Parkside to participate in our Life Groups.

EQ Hour Classes

SUNDAY EQ HOUR | FALL 2024

  • In building a loving, exceptionally healthy, multiplying disciple…a core piece of our vision is to EQuip you as a Christ-follower to live out that mission. One of the core proficiencies we are striving to equip you in…is your Biblical literacy. This means dramatically increasing our knowledge of the Word of God, allowing the love of God to propel us, and living out a life of obedience to the commands of God.

With that mission in mind…we’re introducing: EQ Hour.

The purpose of the EQ Hour is: To intentionally equip each disciple, significantly increasing their “Spiritual EQ” in 3 ways. By…

    • Mending ~ Restoring
    • Establishing ~ Laying a Foundation
    • Preparing ~ Training

  • Our EQ Hour classes will be offered at 10:30 am from mid-September through early December. We will offer two worship services - 9:00 & 10:30 am, so enjoy our 9:00 am worship service and join an EQ class at 10:30 am.

  • We have four class offerings for our EQ Hour in the Fall of 2024. Click the class name for a description.

    • Participants: Adults & Families with children ages 11 and up

  • Join us for an inter-generational, bi-weekly exploration of key themes in the Christian Faith, designed for families with children ages 11 and up. We'll gather on the 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:30 pm for shared meals (think pizza or sandwiches!) and engaging discussions together with our children, where abstract doctrines such as Creation, Fall, Incarnation, Resurrection, and the New Creation (to name a few) are made practical for all ages.

Each week, we will delve into a new theme, exploring its relevance to our daily lives. We'll practice different kinds of family prayer, empowering families to discover and create rhythms of spiritual practice that work for them. The goal is to equip families to build their own rhythms and practices of studying the Bible, sharing their experiences, and praying together, fostering a deeper connection with God and each other, where faith brings joy, strength, and a heart for the world to all.

All are welcome! Come grow with us!
